Side Pockets 0.5k Beer Run "Barks, Brews & Running Shoes"

This is the kind of "run" that's REALLY fun... it's a 0.5k BEER RUN! (That's right, 0.5k... that equals 1/3 Mile or 546 yards or 1,640 feet!) We have it on good authority that it will take you about 7 minutes to complete--and that's if you walk! But no pressure, everyone's a winner at this event. Worried you'll overheat from the exertion? Worry not! We will keep you hydrated along the way with a water station and when you cross the finish line of this mentally and physically taxing 0.5k you'll be rewarded with a finishers medal and beer! Participants also receive a limited edition Side Pockets "Barks, Brews & Running Shoes" 0.5k Beer Run T-Shirt and will be entered to win some fabulous giveaways.

And don't worry about the heat, we've heard you guys! This year, we will make sure there is plenty of shade (the good kind)! 

The best part is that proceeds benefit the Kansas Humane Society! Yep, that's where the "Barks" come in...

• Early Bird Registration: $30, October 9 - December 31, 2024.
• Regular Registration: $35, Jan. 1 - May 1, 2025
• Late Registrations***: $40, May 2 - June 7, 2025

*Please note that there is a $2.80 processing fee per transaction so if you are running with friends, sign up at the same time and only pay one transaction fee.)

**Woofstock Registrations will be available online on the dates indicated as well as in person at the Side Pockets Booth at Woofstock at Sedgwick County Park, October 5, 10am - 3pm. Registrants who sign up at Woofstock will receive their "Stress Paw" at registration. Online Woofstock Registrants will receive their "Stress Paw" in their run packets on the day of the race.

 ***While we will do our best to accommodate shirt selection and sizing, Late Registrants will not be guaranteed to receive their selected size and/or style of Commemorative Race Shirt.
