Description
You will have it made in the shade at this fun event celebrating Summer, hosted by Wichita Running Company and Fartleks. Fartleks is Wichita's local running shop and smoothie stop. The Sunglass Run 5K is an event for the whole family with a 5K run/walk and kids run afterwards! All participants will receive a finishers medal and a pair of sunglasses! 5K participants will receive a pair of the popular Goodr sunglasses that are designed to keep you looking cool while being active! 5K and Kids Run participants can also add an event shirt if they like for just $8! Awards
Awards will be presented to the fastest male and female finishers, the fastest masters male and female finishers, and the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 and over.
Packet Pickup
Registrants can pick up their packet on Friday, June 27 from 2pm to 6pm at Fartlek's Running and Smoothie Shop 535 W Douglas Ave #130 in Wichita. You can pick up the packets of friends and family members also, just be sure to let them know. Packets will not be available before 2pm and the lines are usually the longest at the beginning of packet pickup. Leftovers from packet pickup can also be picked up on race morning beginning at 7:00am at the race site.
