Description

WHAT IS A PREDICT RUN?

A predict run is a fun race format that allows anyone to be the overall winner regardless of gender, age, or ability. It is not about who is fastest, but who can guess closest to the time that they run!

The primary rule with a predict run is that there are NO ELECTRONICS ALLOWED. This includes watches, phones, mp3 players, walkmans and any other electronic item that could be worn to give an unfair advantage to a participant in guessing their time. The only exception is for medically necessary devices. Please let us know on race day if you have a medically necessary device.

THIS EVENT IS VERY FAMILY AND BEGINNER FRIENDLY!

We encourage you to bring out the whole family! A five year old who walks the entire 2 miles is still just as likely to win as a professional runner.

Participants can receive a variety of items for the race including race bib, event apparel, race awards, and an evening of fun!

PACKET PICKUP AND RACE TIME

Wednesday June 3rd

  • 5 pm to 7 pm - Packet Pickup and Registration at race site
  • 7 pm - Race Start!
  • 7:45 pm - Race Awards - ANYONE COULD WIN!

AWARDS

You have a chance to win unique awards for the top 10 men and women who predict closest to their finish time!

The race route can be viewed HERE Please park in the parking lot on the west side of Seneca. Please do NOT park at the Indian Center on the east side of Seneca.

Awards will be presented immediately after the final finisher at approximately 7:50 pm. This is a Predict Run, so even the final finisher can be the overall winner!

Please note that times will be recorded based on MyLaps BibChip timing and will be on a USATF certified course. Certified courses are measured very precisely, and because of this, tend to be slightly longer than if you ran the same distance measured out my a GPS watch or online maping tool. There is a higher margin of error if GPS devices which makes their distance meerely an estimate of the true certified distance.
