USA Cares 22 Miles in 2022 for the 22 Virtual Walk/Run

The veteran suicide rate has increased significantly since the start of COVID, and now situations in the world are drawing attention away from veteran needs. On average, 22 veterans and active duty military service members are lost to suicide every day.  This is a battle we cannot afford to lose here at home. 

Starting March 22, 2022, USA Cares invites you to run, walk, bike, or roll 22 miles in 2022 to honor the 22 veterans and active duty service members lost to suicide each day. 

Anyone across the nation can participate! Move at your own pace, track your progress, and when you finish, simply email info@usacares.org a picture of yourself to show completion! Though many participants choose to use a mobile tracker app or wearable tech to track their progress, you are not required to and we have no issues with you doing things the good old-fashioned way!

All proceeds from this event will help veterans and military families in need of emergency aid. USA Cares is dedicated to making sure that the most vulnerable members of our military veteran community are not forgotten during this global crisis and as tragic events abroad continue to unfold. Don’t let us lose the fight for our veterans during a time of great need. 

Registration: $22/person
Register: Sign up online anytime between March 22 – December 31, 2022.

Complete Your Run/Walk: You can begin as soon as you register and participants are challenged to finish their 22 miles by the end of the 2022 year.

Submit Your Results: Once you’ve completed your 22 miles, email a picture of yourself with your race time/distance to info@usacares.org.
