Giddy Up Go 5K

The "Giddy Up Go" 5K will take place on Friday, September 22. The run/walk will begin at the Coal Miner Memorial Park in Benham, KY. The proceeds from this event will support The Patio Project. Day of registration will begin at 6:30 pm with the event beginning at 7:00 pm. Run or walk the 5K. Strollers are welcome. 

The Patio Project is a vision of "Friends of Benham" that will preserve the historic brick building facades, and add a stage, "Welcome to Benham" mural, tables with chairs, umbrellas, as well as overhead string lights to allow evening events. The Patio will be dedicated to Ms. Bobbie and the late Earl Gothard who have invested their lives to the Tri-City area. Earl always donned "Giddy Up Go" on the front of his truck.
