Description
After being diagnosed with Leukemia on June 4, 2014, Megan Haynes was ready to fight the battle and fight is exactly what she did. Megan created Megan's Mission while undergoing treatment to bring awareness to Leukemia and to the Be The Match organization. Megan lost her battle on January 26, 2015, at the age of 20. Her parents and the community promised to keep her dream alive by continuing what she had started with Megan's Mission. They have established a scholarship in her memory and the proceeds from this 5K will go to fund that scholarship.
