Description

Are you up for the challenge?

This is not your ordinary flat Crossfit challenge or an obstacle run where you bypass the obstacles for a couple of pushups or burpees. This is a no-nonsense test of your fitness. There is no hype, no shirt that says you ran the "Beast" or the Trifecta when you walked around most of the obstacles. This is a straightforward course with straightforward expectations. Registration does include a shirt, but you only get it if you finish the course within the allotted time. 

The course consists of 2 Mile loops.  All races will begin at 9am.

  • Alpha: 6 Miles Finish Under 60 Minutes
  • Beta: 4 Miles Finish Under 60 Minutes
  • Pup: 2 Miles Finish Under 60 Minutes

 

A two-mile loop with over 300 feet of elevation gain/loss. The course is a two-mile loop with 5 challenges per loop. 

5 obstacles/challenges. 

Challenges

  1. Construction Site: 50 Yard "Sand Bag" Carry (2-25 Pound Bags: Pub Run 1-25 Pound Bag).  Transport the bag(s) in any manner you choose. 
  2. Over and Under: Cross a Stationary "Hurdle" and bear crawl under a tripwire. The entrance and exit hurdles are approximately 5 feet high, and the intermediate hurdles are approximately 3 feet high. There are a total of five over hurdles and 6 under hurdles.
  3. Farmer Boy: Transport an old-fashioned hay bale (Approximately 45 Pounds: Pub Run 1/2 Bale) for 100 yards.
  4. Cardiac Arrest:  2-400 Yard Bushwhack Sprints (loop) with approximately 125 feet of elevation gain/loss. This distance is included in the total (2 Miles).
  5. Gym Class 1987: 10 Pushups, 10 Burpees, 10 Jumping Jacks, Shuttle Run.
