Description
The Danville Turkey Trot 5k is a fun, pre-feast family run/walk organized by local high school students to help raise money to build a school in the war-torn Karen State of Myanmar. All proceeds go directly to the students of the Cetana Educational Foundation (cetana.org).
*Preregistration is open through November 27 (T-shirts guaranteed only to those who register before Nov. 17)
*Same day registration and payment begins on Thanksgiving morning at 8:15am.
*The cost is $20/runner or $50/family.
*The race begins at 9:00am.
*Homemade pies and small prizes will be awarded for best times and costumes.
