Description
Two Options: Triathlon (140.6) or Walk (50)
You don’t have to complete all the miles in one day
Take as long as you need as long as you finish by July 31, 2020
Virtual 140.6 mile Run, Ride, & Swim (swim optional) or 50 mile hike (walk or run), wherever you like, as many days as you need, whenever by July 31, 2020 to fight hunger in Appalachia during this pandemic. Many food pantries are being depleted during this difficult time.
Your 5Ks, Half-Marathons, Triathlons, Group Rides, and Fun Walks have been cancelled, so join our virtual ride-run-swim or hike/walk/run, get a cool t-shirt, and support hunger relief in Appalachia through Olive Branch Ministries.
All proceeds (our only overhead is the cost of the t-shirt and mailing) go directly to Olive Branch Ministries to be used in hunger relief in Appalachia for those hit hardest by the pandemic.
Choose your event and complete the mileage on your own time and wherever you want, take as many days as you like, just register by June 15 and finish by July 31, 2020. Log your miles each week and submit them. We will begin sending out shirts after June 22, when you complete your miles. As you go, learn about some of the work of Together for Hope Appalachia.
Ride, Run & Swim 140.6 (anywhere you like and take as many days as you need as long as you finish by July 31)
- Ride - 112 miles (Virtually ride from the FBC Middlesboro Appalachian Immersion Experience to the Emma Quire Mission Center in Owsley County in KY)
