Monster Dash To End Domestic Violence 5K

FUN CHANGES FOR 2026 AS WE TAKE THE RACE TO SUNSET INSTEAD OF SUNRISE!

Join us on Friday Night, October 16, 2026, for the 5th annual Halloween-themed domestic violence awareness run! 1 in 3 women (nearly 43.5 million) and 1 in 6 (20.7 million) men experienced contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner during their lifetimes. Help us take a bite out of domestic violence in our community. 

Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup will be on race evening only. We will begin packet pickup at 6:30 pm EDT in the Severns Valley Baptist Church parking lot near the start/finish line.

Registration

Registration is $25 per person (To receive a FREE special race day t-shirt, runners must be registered before October 2, 2026, due to printing deadlines)

Participants 12 and under run FREE!

Create a Fun Social Team with at least five members and receive a $5 discount on your registrations! Social Teams are also eligible for special team awards!

Online Registration will remain open until the 7:30pm start time of the event. Registering on your phone is quick and easy. Cash registrations will also be taken on race day. 

Awards

Awards will be given to the Top three Overall Male and female runners. Also the Top Finisher in each of these age categories: 12 & Under, 13-19,20-29,30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69, 70 & Over.  A special award will also be handed out to the Best-Dressed Team & Best Dressed Runner. Awards will also be given to the Oldest and Youngest Runners completing the course.

Course Information

The course will begin in the back of Severns Valley Baptist Church's parking lot and and will be 3 laps on the 1 mile course. The route will stay on the Church Property.
