Due to the concerns over COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), we’ve made the decision to cancel the 15th annual Run For The Red 5K/10K scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2020.
Health authorities have determined that social distancing reduces the risk of spreading or contracting this virus, and while our event is scheduled for after the time recommended by authorities the possibility exists that it could be extended beyond the date of the race. The health and safety of our participants, staff, volunteers, and their families is our top priority, and we believe it would be in the community's best interest to cancel this year’s event and come back stronger in 2021.
Refunds will be issued within the next 48 hours to all runners that have already registered. We thank all of our sponsors, volunteers, staff, and especially our participants that have or planned to register. Take care of yourselves and each other, and we look forward to seeing all of you at next year’s race!
Join us on the historic Fort Knox Military Reservation for the 15th annual Run for the Red, supporting the Fort Knox American Red Cross chapter.
