JRWS Spring Trail Series: Capitol View Park

Capitol View is full of gentle multi-purpose trails overlooking the Capitol Building. It's easy to go as far or as short as you want depending on how much you want to repeat. If you've been on the fence about trying out trail running this is the place for you. Also a short, easy drive from downtown Lexington. You can either meet at John’s Run/Walk Shop to carpool or meet at the trailhead (stay to the right after passing the gate at the entrance and we'll be at the end of the second parking lot). This event is free, open to the public, and accommodating to all paces, including hikers.
