How does a virtual 5k work?

1. Pick a day during the event period, and plan to run, walk, or jog 3.1 miles.

2. Time your run with your Fitbit, Apple Watch, or timer and enter it into this website. 

3. Once the results are logged, the top male and female competitors in each age bracket will receive a gift card to a Georgetown local business of their choice. 

   • Age brackets
     • under 18
     • 19-29
     • 30-50
     • 50 and above 

Get out, get active, and get involved with your community—while staying socially distant! This virtual 5K will give back to the Georgetown community we all love.  

I exclusively used the services of Georgetown small businesses as my way of investing into our local economy. 

 
All t-shirts provided by my campaign were purchased from Tammy's T-shirts.  All prizes will be purchased from local businesses like Galvin's, Local Feed, Country Boy Brewery, etc.
