Description
1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime! Now that’s a scary statistic! October is typical known for Halloween, but it’s also dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness. Join us on October 28, 2017 for our Breast Cancer Awareness 5K Walk/Run. Walk or run our 5K route, which leads you through downtown Jackson, to show your support for the survivors, the fighters, or the loved ones that we’re trying to protect through early awareness. Both routes begin and end at Breathitt County High School. Medals are awarded for the top male/female finishers in each age group for both events. Costumes are optional, but we will award a top prize for the best costume.
