Description
During the time when the Cumberland River was the main highway, historic Creelsboro was once the largest town in Russell County, Kentucky. 2019 marked the first every Creelsboro festival to celebrate the history and heritage of this river town. 2020 will mark the second annual celebration with live gospel music, Larry Strange AKA Ray Stevens impersonator, vendors, and the first every Creelsboro Festival 5K run in memory of longtime Creelsboro resident, Karen Lawless who lost her battle with cancer earlier this year.
