Description

Run a 5K YOUR own way!

Due to the current pandemic and CDC recommendations for social distancing, the 12th annual Farmers National Bank Pokey Pig 5K will be a VIRTUAL 5K!

This is a virtual 5K, meaning you can complete 3.1 miles at your own pace, wherever and whenever you like. If you want to bike it, kayak, swim, or run. It's totally up to you. If you want to complete 1.1 miles one day and 2 miles another day, you may go at your own pace. Just make sure you complete your 5K this September!

Show us you finished by doing one or more of the following:

- Emailing a photo to pokeypig@farmersnational.bank

- Use #FNBpokeypig5K and post to our event page on Facebook

- Use #FNBpokeypig5K to post on Instagram or Twitter

- Be sure to tag @marioncountycountryhamdays and @farmersbanklebanon if your post is private.

- Farmers National Bank on Main Street will have multiple backdrops and the famous huge pig on display September 21-26 so runners can get fun pictures.

Register by August 31, 2020, to receive your swag prior to the race week. Registrations will be accepted until September 11; however, swag may arrive after race week.

CONTRIBUTE TO A GREAT CAUSE

The Farmers National Bank Pokey Pig 5K Run is part of the United Way Tri-County Trifecta along with the United Way Spirit 5k in Bardstown during the Bourbon Festival and the Washington County Chamber of Commerce Sorghum Shuffle. The Tri-County Trifecta is sponsored by your Tri-County Kentucky United Way. Go to www.pokeypig5k.com to find out how to register for the other two legs of the trifecta and complete your set of collectible pins!

ROUTE

You can run the 5K your own way, but if you want to run the usual FNB Pokey Pig 5K route, the map is available at www.pokeypig5k.com or paper maps may be picked up at Farmers National Bank at 136 West Main Street in Lebanon. The week of September 20-26, the route will be marked with signs and stamps on the pavement.
