Description
Join our inaugural Coldstream Derby 5K to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Nestled between Keeneland’s Spring Meet and Derby Day is a new kind of horse race: the inaugural Coldstream Derby! On Sunday, April 28 at 3pm, competitors will run a 24.8 furlong (5K) course at Coldstream Park in Lexington, hoping to set a world record for the most runners wearing horse head masks. Our race will start behind the Embassy Suites North Lexington so come straight to the hotel for convenient/easy parking.
Why? It’s all in support of a good cause: raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Join us for a Run for the Roses! We encourage Derby-themed costumes, so let your creativity shine. And bring your kiddos out for the Little Foal Kid’s Dash—totally free and definitely fun.
