Our 4 mile course is a mix of grassy field and single track hard packed surfaces. There are some rock surfaces, roots and other mounds and switchbacks to keep things interesting. The start and finish have short sections of .2 and .1 miles respectively where you run in a grassy field from the start/finish to/from the trailhead.
We are pleased to partner with the Kentucky Mountain Bike Association (KYMBA) on this race. The crew at KYMBA have done a great job building and maintaining the trails at Veterans Park. A portion of every race registration will go to KYMBA to pump back into the Veterans Park trails.
