Established in 2018, Lexington Equine Medical Group (LEMG) is an ambulatory veterinary practice built on the experience and expertise of 13 full-time veterinarians, who have nearly 125 years of experience among them. The Kentucky Horse Council is your connection to the Kentucky Equine Industry. A private nonprofit that offers the "Foal License Plate", develops programs for Trails, Health and Welfare, Horse Owners, Youth and Legislation. We are an all-breed, all discipline organization managed by a Board of Directors and operated out of an office at the Kentucky Horse Park.
Your membership and donations to the Kentucky Horse Council support the Kentucky Equine Industry's health and sustainability.

Celebrating our relationship with the horse since 1978, the Kentucky Horse Park welcomes over one million visitors each year. Owned and operated by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the Park is a treasure to our state and a facility unlike any other in the world.
