I Run For Ukraine - 44km For 44 Million VIRTUAL

RaceRise and Razom For Ukraine have partnered to provide an opportunity for runners, walkers, hikers and swimmers to make a difference for our 44 million neighbors in Ukraine.  As the world watches the worsening crisis taking place, you can be a part of the solution.

The I Run For Ukraine VIRTUAL is a chance for our extended community across the United States to let our running & fitness send a message of love and caring to the Ukrainian people and raise funds to ease their burden.

Our virtual runs from March 8th - May 7th so you have 2 months to register and complete whatever mileage you wish to complete.

Run, walk, swim or cycle 44km (27.3 miles) or choose another distance that fits your schedule and fitness level (4.4km, 44 miles, 444km (273 miles)).  You can complete this as one run or break it up into smaller segments to reach your distance.  Every kilometer sends a shot of love to the struggling 44 million citizens of Ukraine.

CHARITY PARTNER - RAZOM FOR UKRAINE   All proceeds from the I Run For Ukraine VIRTUAL will support the people of Ukraine through the work of Razom For Ukraine https://razomforukraine.org/    Razom For Ukraine is currently focusing resources to the Ukrainian refugees who have fled their native country for safety.  Please read more about Razom For Ukraine below.

HOW IT WORKS?

• Sign up for either the "Central KY Packet Pickup" or "Mail My Packet" event
• When you register consider forming or joining a SOCIAL TEAM and inviting your friends, family and/or co-workers to join you.  The more the merrier!
• Run, walk, cycle, swim or tread your distance either in one workout or in smaller segments.  Run your segments anywhere, anytime from now until May 1st.
• Log your mileage if you want at the RESULTS link on this website (optional)
• We'll mail your shirt (if you signed up for that option) or you'll get it at one of our (Lexington, KY area) packet pickups
• Wear your "I Run For Ukraine" shirt proud knowing you helped make a difference
• We'll communicate to you via our final totals for kilometers logged and funds raised

Please follow us on our FACEBOOK EVENT PAGE and post a photo or two of your Run For Ukraine.  We'll have a few drawings for raffle prizes of those who submit a photo.

LOCAL CENTRAL KENTUCKY PACKET PICKUPS -- We will be finalizing our packet pickup dates/times/locations but plan to have 3-4 opportunities for you to pickup your packet.  We'll make sure that all local participants get their shirts.

MAILING OF PACKETS -- If you sign up and pay to have your packet/shirt mailed to you then we will mail it once the shirts are screened.  We expect to order our first batch of shirts soon so we'll be able to mail out any early registrants packets within 10-14 days.  Others will follow after that.  Registration for I Run For Ukraine will remain open until April 20th.  Please be sure that your mailing address in your RunSignUp.com account is accurate/current.

SOCIAL TEAMS -- Don't go it alone!  When you register form a social team and invite your friends, family, running mates and/or co-workers to join you.  We'll have a prize for the largest team!
