Description
The American Diabetes Association is excited to bring its first 5K race to the Bluegrass. The race is a gun start/chip finish format and awards will include overall top 3 male and female and top male and female in each age group. The 5K is the perfect addition to the Association's annual Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes. The event includes a scenic run route through the beautiful grounds of Keeneland, refreshments, live entertainment, health & wellness vendors, Kid's Zone and more. The first 100 registered runners will receive a signature ADA gift. The fundraising minimum for a t-shirt is $100. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable and do not count towards the fundraising minimum. Special run day perks are available for our Red Runners who have type 1 or type 2 diabetes. 5K proceeds will provide local diabetes research, programs, education and advocacy efforts.
