Louisville's Traditional Thanksgiving Day Run!

 
Run or walk the five-mile course November 23rd, Thanksgiving morning.

*Please note the roadways are open allowing access to the golf course. Use the pedestrian path while on the back side of the park.

Costume Contest

Put your creativity to work and wear a costume. Turkeys, unicorns, pies and ugly sweaters welcome. Grand prize $50.

Race Swag

Each Entrant will receive a top-quality long sleeve shirt and entry in drawing. First 1,000 entrants will receive a medal.

Entry Fees

  • $30 early sign up. Online before October 15th. Register by Oct 15th and pick up early to guarantee shirt size. We cannot guarantee shirt size for race day packet pickup.
  • $35 after Oct 15th. Online before Nov 15th.
  • $40 after Nov 15th . Online prior to the start of the race. 

Packet Pickup

Packet pick up is Tuesday & Wednesday (November 26th & 27th) Thanksgiving week at Swag's South End Store. They are open 10am-7pm. Swag's Sport Shoes south end location. Race Day pickup also available on site for those who can't make it out to Swag's, although early pickup is highly encouraged. 

Pets

Pets are allowed on the race course. For safety purposes, all pets must be leashed and runners with pets must start at the back of the runners and stay on the right side of the road.

Parking

There is limited parking available in the Iroquois Amphitheater Lot during the event. Please do not drive or park on grass areas in Iroquois Park.

Overflow parking is available in Colonial Gardens, 818 W Kenwood Dr, Louisville, KY 40214 and DeSales High School, 425 W Kenwood Dr, Louisville, KY 40214, which is a short walk to the Start and Finish Line.

Eugene Baker Memorial Award: Oldest Runner $50
First Stroller $20 (must begin behind runners)
No Awards for the 5K or 1.25 Mile Fun Run/Walk
