Re-Write Your Story 5K Walk/Run

Join us for the first annual Re-write Your Story 5k and Wellness Fest at the Wayne County Park on October 22, 2022 hosted by RISE Mental Health and Wellness and Safe Harbor Residential Treatment Center! 

CALLING OUT TO:

5kers, one milers, vendors (food, product, informational and other), sponsors, donors, volunteers, FUN lovers, and friends in RECOVERY! 

ABOUT THE EVENT: 

In addition to the 5k and one mile FUN run/walk, we are planning a full day of family friendly events geared toward raising awareness for mental health and substance abuse prevention. We will have lots of games for children and vendors set up around the park. 

We have THREE (confirmed) very special guest speakers! Erica Gentry, Bambi Adams, and Angela Jeffries! If you've ever heard these girls speak, you KNOW they have a story to tell!   

Enjoy music by Set Free, raffles, and more!! 

We are inviting all community vendors (products/services, informational, and food). If you make crafts, clothing, woodwork, or any other products OR would like to set up to provide information about your services - SIGN UP!  

Business owners in RECOVERY - We would LOVE to have you! Come together and support each other! We can't wait to meet you and learn about your trade! 

PROCEEDS:  

Whether you struggle with mental illness or addiction, or if someone you love does, know that it is never too late to re-write your story and change the narrative of your life.

Your registration fee, sponsorship, and/or donation will help us coordinate this event and be distributed between RISE Mental Health and Wellness and Safe Harbor Residential Treatment Center to help ensure that we can provide programs such as our community pantry and substance abuse initiatives.
