Event Description
Shearer Sisters TBCK Cross Country 5K Fun Run & Walk
Run. Walk. Support.
The Lake Cumberland Running Community is coming together for something that truly matters.
Join us on Saturday, August 1 at 9:00 AM for the Shearer Sisters TBCK Cross Country 5K Fun Run & Walk, benefiting the TBCK Shearer Sisters, with 100% of all proceeds going directly to their family.
The event will be held at Cave Lake Park in Monticello, Kentucky, on one of the premier cross country courses in the Lake Cumberland region.
The Shearer Sisters and their family hold a special place in the hearts of our running community. They continue to face the daily challenges of TBCK Syndrome, a rare neurogenetic disorder, with incredible courage and strength. This event is an opportunity for our community to rally around them and show that they are not fighting alone.
About the Event
This is a Fun Run & Walk, designed for everyone in the community—not just runners.
This is NOT a timed race. No Shirts. There will be no official chip timing or race results. Whether you choose to run, jog, or walk, we encourage everyone to enjoy the course at their own pace.
For those who would still like to know their finish time, a digital clock will be displayed at the finish line so you can record your own time.
This event is about bringing people together, supporting an incredible family, and making a difference—not competition.
Everyone is Welcome
Whether you're:
A competitive runner

...we invite you to be part of this special morning.
Every registration, every donation, and every step taken helps support the Shearer family during their journey.
Let's show them the incredible strength, compassion, and generosity of Wayne County, Pulaski County, and the entire Lake Cumberland region.
Run. Walk. Support.
💙 Every step makes a difference.
