Run For Rescue 3K

Join us for the inaugural Run for Rescue 3K benefiting the Montgomery County Animal Shelter!

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2025 at 7:00PM at EASY WALKER PARK in MT. STERLING

The Run for Rescue 3K Run/Walk event serves as a community-driven fundraising event to support the Montgomery County Animal Shelter’s ongoing mission to provide compassionate care to homeless animals. The primary financial objective of the event is to offset the spay and neutering costs for animals in the shelter’s care. 

RACE FEATURES:

• Scenic paved course at Easy Walker Park (3K/1.86 miles)
• Commemorative race T-Shirts (Unisex short sleeved sizes S, M, L, XL and 2XL)
• FREE Kid's Dash (9 and under) - No shirt, kids receive a participation medal
• Free Race Photos
• Awards for Top 3 M/F and Age Groups (5 year divisions)
• Runners, walkers, dogs on fixed length leash and strollers welcomed
• Drinks provided by Blooming Nutrition, Kona Ice (For purchase)
• Adoptable pets at the race!
• Virtual Option for those who can't attend in person ($25)
