Description
The Taylorsville Lake Paddle Battle is a paddlesports event for beginning to advanced paddlers of SUP's, canoes, and kayaks, at beautiful Taylorsville Lake in Taylorsville, Spencer County, Kentucky. It is also an event in the Kentucky Waterman Series, and received rave reviews last two years for the number of competitors, and how well the event was conducted. Please join us for this years Paddle Battle weekend.
The Paddle Battle is contested over 2, 6, & 10 mile courses which start and finish at the Taylorsville Lake State Park boat ramp, reserved for the exclusive use of the racers during the event.
Taylorsville Lake is a scenic Corp of Engineers lake that is very popular for all types of recreational boaters, offering wooded shorelines and abundant wildlife. The State Park has 42 full service campsites, 24 miles of multi-use trails, and a boat ramp. There is a full service marina with a ramp, and 2 other ramps also at the lake.
