Celebrate summer with a patriotic bang! This race is sure to be a fast one on the flat Renfro Valley course. Proceeds benefit the Mount Vernon Lions Club.
Event Details
- Race start time 8:00 a.m. EST. Packet pickup and registration open 7:00-7:45 a.m.
- Location: Renfro Valley Entertainment Center
- $25 registration fee by Wednesday, August 12 includes a commemorative race t-shirt. (Shirts not guaranteed after August 12. Inventory will be updated on Runsignup).
Awards
- Overall male and female race winner
- Top three male and female runners in each of the following age groups: 12-under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+
- Top three fastest male and female walkers
NEW! Student Strides 2026
- ALL students age 4-18 run FREE! No shirt included in registration, but may be added on for additional fee.
- Students who complete at least 7 races will receive a $25 gift card and custom t-shirt at the end of the 2026 series!
- Students must run or walk to be eligible for awards and incentives.
