Freedom Fest

Once again, it's fun, food and fireworks time! This year's Freedom Fest will be the biggest and best celebration in Calloway County. The festival kicks off Friday evening with a street fair full of food, crafts, games and items for sale, as well as a beer garden and a free outdoor concert sponsored by Independence Bank. The fun continues Saturday with the FNB Bank Parade, CFSB Kids' Zone, Primary Care 5K, CFSB Street Fair and the Main Street Mile. Saturday night, enjoy one of western Kentucky's largest fireworks displays, the Briggs and Stratton Fireworks Extravaganza. Also Saturday is The Murray Bank Family Night in the Park, where you can watch the fireworks after a fun-filled evening of music, food and free kids' activities. Actually, most all the Freedom Fest activities are free, so grab the whole family and come to Murray for a patriotic celebration.
