Description
Come join the fun! This is the 4th Run for Foxy Roxie 5k. It's a memorial race for Roxanne Pickrell ("Foxy Roxie"), the late daughter of Jason and Cathy Pickrell. Roxie passed in 2019, at age 13, after a brief battle with brain cancer. This race is a way to honor her memory and give back to our community through her non-profit, the Roxanne Pickrell Memorial Fund. Our mission is to #supportacause. We fundraise to donate to our LOCAL non-profits! It's a fun event with cool t-shirts and awards! This year we will be in a new location. It will start and finish in Downtown Owensboro at Smother's Park Overlook Stage. A part of the race will take you down Frederica Street. We have also added a 1 mile race and a Kid's Dash!
Proceeds from this year's 5k will support the Owensboro Fire Department, Hose Handlers in the upcoming Puzzle Pieces Lip Sync Battle.

Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup is scheduled for May 29th at the Owensboro Family YMCA, 900 Kentucky Parkway, Owensboro 42301, from 11am to 2pm.
You can also pick up your packet the morning of the race, starting at 7am at Overlook Stage, Smother's Park.
