The Paris High School Band is honored to present it's inaugural BAND ON THE RUN 5K RUN/WALK! This unique event is an opportunity to race through one of the most scenic horse farms in the heart of the "Horse Capital of the World" - Adena Springs - in breathtaking Bourbon County, Kentucky!

Save the date for Saturday, March 29, 2014. Adena Springs is located in Paris, Kentucky USA. Just a 20 minute drive north of Lexington, Kentucky, in the exact same rolling, bluegrass hills where the world's most elite thoroughbreds frolic and play. This is truly one of the very few times that you can roam among such majestic creatures! Registration opens at 10:00 AM, and the run/walk begins at 11:00 AM. the registration fee is a flat, easy $25.00, and includes an awesome BAND ON THE RUN t-shirt and the opportunity to win one of several prizes! There is no price difference in pre-registration and registering on-site. However, only cash or checks are accepted on-site the day of the race! Pre-registrants are guaranteed their t-shirt the day of the race. On-site regristrants receive their t-shirts on the day of the race based on a first-come-first-serve basis due to limited quantities. All other on-site registrants will receive their t-shirts via mail.

Unfortunately, strollers and dogs are not permitted due to the horses.

All proceeds go to the Paris Band, which is an award-winning program!
