5K Virtual Zombie Apocalypse Run 2020

The end may be near and soon many Zombies will appear! Can you run to save your life? Wanna try? It might help if you dress like the dead! Zombie attire is encouraged.

Anchored Hope Counseling will be hosting our 1st Annual 5K Virtual Zombie Apocalypse Run in October, 2020. It is designed for everyone to participate. You can run, walk, or crawl across the finish line. You can run for your life for 5K or 1 mile... This virtual run is... Your Place, Your Space, and Your Pace. You get to choose.

Ultimate Zombie Apocalypse Survivor 2020 Trophy and Medals will be sent out 48 hours after the final countdown ends. Awards will be presented to the following categories:

• Overall 1st place 5k (male and female)
• Overall 2nd place 5k (male and female)
• Overall 3rd place 5k (male and female)
• Top 3 5k finishers (males only)
• Top 3 5k finishers (females only)
• Top 3 1 mile finishers (males only)
• Top 3 1 mile finishers (females only)
• Top 3 1 mile finishers (teens/kids only)
• Top 3 Best Costumes (Dead or Alive)

To be in the running for the above awards all participants MUST present running log verification of completed run using any app which tracks the time and distance of the course.  All verification logs must be ran/walked between October 24th 6:00am to October 31st 11:59pm. Submit photos of your run/walk to be featured on our race page. 

The first 50 registered participants will receive a swag T-shirt prior to the start date of the virtual race. Please make sure your registered address is correct to ensure proper delivery of your swag shirt. All race bibs will be delivered via e-mail.

When you sign up for this race you will be running for your life and a mission! It is Anchored Hope Counseling's mission to continue to offer scholarships to individuals who are struggling with mental health issues and cannot afford to seek help. We hope you will support our mission and have some fun while you are at it!
