Packet Pickup: We will be holding packet pickup at J Harrods Restaurant on Saturday, November 16th from 1-5 PM. Please make every effort to pick your packet up during this time and consider sticking around for dinner! If you are unable to make it, we will offer race-day packet pickup from 8:00-8:50 AM in our race-staging area at the park.
Race Day: Both the 5k and 10k race will begin at 9:00 AM on Sunday, November 17th in the parking lot at the bottom of the hill of Harrods Creek Park. Due to limited parking in the race-staging area, we will not allow vehicles to drive to the bottom of the hill. Please give yourself plenty of time to find a spot and walk to the start.
Parking: Please park along either Montero Drive or Deep Creek Drive. You will see the large green "Harrods Creek Park" sign along Montero Drive. Walk down the drive adjacent to the sign (that will have cones across it) to the bottom of the hill to the start area.
Trail Running Etiquette: Because this is a trail race, please observe standard trail running etiquette. This includes announcing yourself if you plan to pass ("On your left!"), alerting a race volunteer of a runner in need, and being generally aware and respectful of your surroundings/fellow runners. To this end, we strongly recommend that you leave your headphones at home.
Shirts: Before the event, the only shirt size you will be able to pick up is the one you signed up for when you registered. If there are leftovers after the event, you will be allowed to swap yours for another size in the finish area. Unfortunately, there will not be an opportunity to swap your shirt size or pick up your packet after the event if you miss.
Join us on November 17th, 2019 for the third annual Harrods Creek Trail Bash 5k/10k trail race!
Amenities include a race t-shirt, finisher/overall awards, professional chip timing, beautiful course, and post-race chili/coffee to help warm up afterwards! Proceeds benefit the upkeep and improvement of Harrods Creek Park- a wonderful new addition to the Prospect City Parks System. Register by November 1st to guarantee your shirt size.
The Harrods Creek Trail Bash will be the first race in the all new Trail Bash Series! The Trail Bash Series aims to bring local, high quality trail races to the Louisville area through the winter months. With relatively short race options, the Trail Bash Series is ideal for new trail runners looking to experience the trail running world for the first time and veterans of the sport looking to maintain off-season fitness alike.
You can expect high quality swag, beautiful race venues, and the wonderful community that surrounds trail running at each of our Trail Bash events. Run all three events and receive a special series award!
Register for all three races at once for a 10% savings.
We will be enforcing a 25 minute/mile cutoff pace for both the 5k and 10k for the safety of all involved.
