Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 26th) at 8:30am *** White Hall Park in Richmond, KY
Start your Thanksgiving day off the way millions of others will. Thanksgiving is the number one race day in the USA. It makes perfect sense if you think about it. The amount of calories you will take in that day will be far greater than a normal day. So the calories you burn need to be greater as well. Sign up and then start harassing your friends and family to sign up as well. There will be competitive runners, casual runners, run-walkers, and walkers making the scenic loop around White Hall Park. This will be a chip racing event, but really the goal is to have fun and burn some calories. As an added bonus, we will give you a really cool T-shirt to remember the day.
Our race will employ a number of COVID-19 safety measures including:
- Wave start in small groups
- Loop course to keep participants moving in one direction
- Touchless packet pickup
- No onsite awards ceremony
- Temperature checks of all participants and volunteers
- Masks worn before & after race
Proceeds from this race will be going to Grace Now Food Pantry right here in Richmond (www.gracenowky.com). Grace Now is a local food pantry and clothes closet serving Madison and surrounding counties. We will be collecting canned good donations for Grace Now on race day and at our packet pickup. If you would prefer, you can make a financial donation that will go directly to Grace Now during the registration process.
There will be a Kids "Little Turkey" 1K Run/Walk and virtual option for those who can't join us in person.
