Shelby Trails has a lot to offer! This race isn't so technical that it is difficult for beginners or first timers, but at the same time offers all of the technicality, hills, and terrain that make a trail run just that... a Trail run!

4 Miler:

This event is perfect for those just getting into trail running or looking for fast and fun race.

The four mile race will consist of one loop on our 2015 course. The course starts wide, fast, and flat to allow for everyone to spread out and get comfortable. It then turns into a row of cedars and winds down along a creek bottom. Before long the course ducks into the woods and crosses the creek on a small wooden bridge. From there the trail climbs up a slight hill, turning through the woods and leading runners down a long row of cedars within the woods themselves. From there the course continues to to include some technical single track trails and wide grass/dirt trails.

8 Miler:

The 8 miler is great for anyone looking to get themselves or their gear tuned up for Lovin' the Hills. From there the trail climbs up a slight hill, turning through the woods and leading runners down a long row of cedars within the woods themselves.
