2018 Mountain Heritage Festival 5K/10K

Please join us on Saturday, September 8 for the Mountain Heritage Festival 5K & 10K Race. This race will start at the Whitesburg City Parking lot located next to the Veterans Museum in downtown Whitesburg. The race will start at 9:00 am and all participants are encouraged to arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 am to ensure everyone is registered and the race can start on time. The course will take place in beautiful downtown Whitesburg where you can enjoy nature’s beauty of the mountains and the Kentucky River as well as historic buildings and churches. All participants who register by August 31 will be guaranteed a free T-shirt on race day. Those who register after August 31 will be subject to availability. Medals will be given to the top three male and female finishers in both races. There will be several door prizes given away following the race as well. We have reduced our entry fee this year and if you register by August 31 the entry fee will only be $15 for either distance.
