Description
The NOLA Passion 5k Run is a family oriented event planned to benefit Operation Warrior Reconnect.
Operation Warrior Reconnect is an organization founded by Dave Roever, a wounded Vietnam Veteran, to provide assistance to wounded warriors coming home from Iraq and Afganistan. This run is organized by Real Life Church, a new church coming to the West Bank of New Orleans in 2015. The run is on April 3, 2015, Good Friday, at Medal of Honor Park on Barriere Road in Belle Chasse, La.
In addition to the run/walk, come hear Brandon Byers, a wounded Army veteran who has a moving story of survival, heroism, and restoration. Brandon will be sharing his story at Medal of Honor Park right after the run. There will be food, music, fun, and games for a day of family fun!
Race kicks off at 9 A.M.
