City of Benton’s 10th Annual
Dash Around the Square
5k Run, Health Walk, & Kid’s Fun Run
December 7th, 2019
12:00 p.m. - Noon!
Entry Fee: Registration fee is $20.00 until December 6th and $25 on race day.
Kids 1 mile Fun Run (kids 10 under) is $15 until December 6th and $20 on race day.
Shirts guaranteed if registered by November 15, 2019.
Packet Pick Up: Packet pick up will be at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport, LA
Thursday, Dec. 5th, 12:00pm-7:00pm and Friday, Dec 6th, 10:00am-5:30pm.
Race day will be at the race site.
Race Course: The flat, scenic course will begin and end at the Heritage Village Square, 417 Sibley Street, Benton, LA. No Dogs allowed on the run course. Race emceed by our very own Joe Haynes of KTBS.
Post Party: Fun filled family day with free activities for the entire family from 12 noon - 7 p.m. including pirate ship ride, bungee jump, inflatables, crafts, live entertainment on two stages and pictures with Santa (just to name a few). Come spend the day with us rain or shine. Shop our Marketplace for something good to eat and gifts to take home and enjoy among our 80 vendors.
Awards: Overall Male & Female & Overall Runners up in the 5k will be given medals.
Overall Male & Female & Overall Runners up in the Kids 5k (19-under) will be given medals
Age Group winners (1st Place) will be given a medal
Age groups 10-under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-over
