Run With The Force 5K
Join us for the Run With The Force 5K is a fun and meaningful race supporting Shreveport Homeschool Sports (The Force) and the student-athletes who train, compete, and grow through the program.
Whether you are a competitive runner chasing a personal record or a family looking for a fun Saturday morning activity, this event is a great way to support local homeschool athletes while enjoying the running community in Shreveport/Bossier.
Why This Race Matters:
Shreveport Homeschool Sports, known as The Force, provides homeschool students in Northwest Louisiana with opportunities to compete in organized athletics at the middle school and high school levels.
Founded in 2012 by local parents who wanted their homeschooled children to experience team sports, the program has grown into a thriving athletic community offering teams in sports such as:
• Cross Country
• Track and Field
• Basketball
• Volleyball
The Force exists to do more than build athletes. The program helps develop discipline, teamwork, leadership, and strong character while providing homeschool students with meaningful opportunities to compete.

• Travel to competitions
• Program development for future athletes

Event Type: Run or Walk
Course: Beginner friendly and family friendly
Participants of all ages and experience levels are welcome.
Awards
Awards will be given for Male & Female in the following age groups:
10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39,40-49, 50-59, 60+
