May the 4th – Louisiana is a nonprofit festival merging Star Wars fandom with Cajun flair—all while benefiting local high school band programs, particularly H.L. Bourgeois High School Band. Now celebrating its fifth year, the event has evolved into an energetic day of fun and community support.
Kessel Run 5K & Ewok Trot
Kick off the day at 9:00 AM with our Star Wars–themed race, open to participants of all ages and skill levels—costumes encouraged! Every registration helps provide grants and resources for Terrebonne Parish band students.
After the race, enjoy highlights like the Roux Wars cook-off, Wookie Calling Contest, costume competitions, live music, and local vendors. Join us to celebrate fandom, culture, and a good cause—may the force (and the flavor) be with you!
