*HEADS UP!!! This the first race in the TRIPLE CROWN SERIES!!! The series includes these Lake Area Runners races: Athlete’s Corner 3 Miler, Contraband 5 Miler, and LAR’s 4 on the 4th. Finishers of all 3 will get a prize! 

This 3 miler is a fun race that winds through nearby neighborhoods and ends back at Athlete’s Corner for the awards and prizes. The course is flat and fast!

Feel free to come dressed in your St. Paddy’s Day best!

The top male and female finishers will win a free pair of shoes from Athlete’s Corner, and the top three finishers in each age group will get a gift card to Athlete’s Corner. Age groups are 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ (for both men and women).

Registration Fees: $40 through February 11th, $45 through February 25th. Online registration ends March 9th. Race day registration will be $50. Those aged 65 and over register for free with no free shirt. However, there is an option to buy a shirt.

The cut off to receive a guaranteed t-shirt is February 28th! 

Packet pickup will take place Friday, March 11th at Southern Bicycle Co. (located at 615 E Prien Lake Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70601) from 12:00-5:00pm.

Race day packet pickup and registrations will begin at 6:00am.

*Please note: There are no bib transfers, no deferrals, and no refunds of race fees under any circumstances.
