Due to very low participation for this year's event, we have decided to cancel the triathlon.
We hope to be able to put it on in 2023.

Description
Come and race Lake Charles’ only local triathlon. If you’re looking for a chance to try out triathlon at a local venue then the Power to TRIathlon is perfect for you.
The distances are swim 200 yds, bike 18 miles, run 3 miles.
The swim is in the brand new Ward 3 Aquatic center. The bike will take you into the new Morgan Field development and the run will be on Ward 3 campus.
There will be a great shirt for registering, awesome swag for competing and food for all at the end of the race. Come out and tri with us!
Packet Pickup will be at Southern Bicycle Co. located at 615 E. Prien Lake Rd. Lake Charles, LA on Friday, August 13th from 10am - 12pm. Race morning from 6am to 7am.
USA Triathlon Sanctioned Race
This race is being sanctioned with USAT. You, including all relay team members, must be a licensed USA Triathlon member at the time of registration or buy a one-day license to participate for $15.00 for adults and minors have to buy a yearly membership for $10. For more information on USA Triathlon and to join, see www.usatriathlon.org or call 719-597-9090. USAT rules shall be enforced. You are responsible for knowing the USAT race rules. USAT RULE: You are the only person that can pick up your packet and you must provide a picture ID.
