Description
Miles that Matter 5K is being held in an effort to raise funds to offset healthcare costs for Tiffany Copeland of Minden who was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Starting Time: 5K Run/Walk sponsored in part by Minden Medical Center will start at 8:00am Saturday, August 15, 2015.
Race Course: The course will begin and end at Minden Medical Center Outpatient Physical Therapy at 1120 Homer Road in Minden, LA. Participants will run/walk through Ridgewood neighborhood.
Registration: Early Registration is $25 until August 4th. All participants who register by August 4th will receive a short sleeve official Miles that Matter Run T-shirt. Late Registration is $30 August 5th - Race Day. You may pay with a Credit Card online at www.sportspectrumusa.com or with cash or contact Ashley Vise at 318-464-2146 or Sportspectrum in Shreveport at 6970 Fern Avenue.
IPICO timing system is included in registration fee.
Packet Pickup: Friday, August 14th and Saturday, August 15th, 8-5pm, at 1120 Homer Road and Race Day 7:00-7:45am before race.
Age Group Awards: 1st place winners in each following age group will receive awards: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61 and older.
Post Race Party: Following the race we’ll have family friendly entertainment and activities, so stick around!
