Location: Caney Lakes, 194 Caney Lakes Park, Minden LA 71055

Directions to lake:

From Minden, take Louisiana 159 north to Webster Parish Road 111(Caney Lakes Rd). Turn left on WPR 111 (Caney Lakes Rd) and go 2 miles. Look for the sign posted to the recreation area entrance. Or, simply type in Caney Lake Recreational Area on your mobile device. 

Parking Fee: $5 parking fee per vehicle, NOT per person. The fee station is just inside the gate. It is suggested to CARPOOL!!!

Packet pick up:

Thursday, November 7th from noon - 7:00 p.m. at Sportspectrum

Friday, November 8th from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. at Sportspectrum

Race morning at the race site starting at 6:30 a.m.

Race Entry Fees:

3 Mile: until October 27th - $25, October 28th - November 8th - $30, Race Day - $35

10 Mile: until October 27th - $30, October 28th - November 8th - $35, Race Day - $40

Awards: For both the 3 & 10 mile race. Overall Male & Female, 1st & 2nd place Male & Female in the following age groups: 19-under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

This is race #1 of the Trail Series. Race #2 will be at Bistineau, Jan. 11th, 

Race #3 at Monkey Trails, Feb. 22nd and the last race #4 Backroads and Bayous March 7th.

Theme - 70's retro with the coolest male & female outfit getting something really far out!

Each participant receives ringer tee, striped knee socks and post race goodies. Also, an entry into the 2020 Screaming Monkey 100 (SM100) will be given away pre-race.

Race shirts: Unisex Ringer Tee!  XS through XL

All proceeds for this race will go to XMA (Extreme Missionary Adventures) and Feist Weiller Cancer Center. (Split 50/50)
