Come kick off homecoming week for a fun morning of exercise and PINK celebration to help support the NISH Volleyball Program! The Pink Color run is a 2 mile, untimed event on NISH's campus starting at 9:00AM Saturday, October 19th. During the race, NISH volleyball players will be dousing runners with different shades of pink. Before the event their will be a group warm up, and after their will be a dance party as well as more color throws. Runners are encouraged to wear white shirts so by the end you are covered in pink! Pink accessories are more than encouraged! Our goal is to encourage our community and participants to live a more fun and active lifestyle! Because there are no official times, the Pink Color Run is for all ages and athletes.
You might be asking.. why pink? October is our "Dig Pink" month. During our matches, you will see the girls in pink socks and other pink items bringing awareness and support to women fighting breast cancer, celebrating survivors and remembering fighters who may have lost their battle. 10% of our proceeds for this event will go to helping find a cure for breast cancer.
