Join us on Sunday, September 13, 2026, for a special dual celebration: the 59th Annual Al Briede Gold Cup is joining forces with the NOTC Anniversary Race, presented by the New Orleans Track Club Hall of Fame!
This signature event honors the memory of legendary New Orleans athlete and community leader Al Briede while celebrating the rich history, achievements, and community impact of the NOTC Hall of Fame. Together, we are recognizing decades of athletic excellence, volunteer leadership, and dedication to growing the local running community.
The race will take place at the historic and scenic Metairie Cemetery, one of the largest and most beautiful grounds in the city. Proceeds benefit the Al Briede Gold Cup Foundation—providing scholarships to local high school students—and support the New Orleans Track Club in its ongoing mission to promote health, wellness, and youth athletics across the region.
