Domestic Violence Let's Go 5k

The Royal Hearts Foundation of  America present its 3rd race in the race series, "Domestic Violence Let's Go 5k"! At the Royal hearts foundation we want to bring awareness to how abuse affects families, especially children. Violence in the home creates fear, anxiety, hate, and confusion for the child. They are taught to accept pain form those who profess to love you. Anxiety is worsen by watching a parent chastised as if they are a child or beaten. Kids learn that it is not safe to think, speak, or live. Domestic Violence Let's Go 5k hopes to shed light on its affect on children in an effort to encourage mothers or fathers to Let Go (leave an abusive situation) and truly protect yourself and your children.
