What is the difference between the new ticket options for the National Fried Chicken Festival 5K Run | Walk?

Ticket 1 - Registration + Festival Access on Saturday, Oct 3. - Registrants will receive a 1x ticket for re-entry to the festival only on Saturday, Oct. 3 in their race packet.

Ticket 2  + Student price + Kid 1- Mile run -  Registration with NO festival access - Registrants will not receive a re-entry ticket to the festival in their packet.

Both ticket holders will have access to the FCF 5K post-race party.

Multi-Person Pricing - Party of 5 or more! 

• Whether you're with friends, family, coworkers, or a community group — sign up together and enjoy a group discount!

  • Groups of 5 or more receive $5 off each participant's registration.

  • To qualify for the discount, all group members must register in a single transaction at checkout. 
    • One (1) group member will complete the registration for the entire group.

    • Once the transaction is complete, the group is closed and no additional members can be added,

    • Be sure to gather all members information and payment before registering.

FAQ

• Am I guaranteed all complimentary race assets if I sign up on race day? (Morning of 10/3) 
  • Participants who register on the morning of the National Fried Chicken Festival 5K Run | Walk are not guaranteed to receive all race amenities (such as the shirt, bag etc). Supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Ticket Policy
  • All ticket sales are final – no refunds.

• Weather Policy
  • The 5K will happen rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.

• Kids & Strollers
  • • Kids are welcome to join the 5K.
    • Strollers are allowed.
    • There will also be a 1-mile kids run on Saturday at 10 AM for ages 12 and under

• What's the Difference Between Teams & Multi-Person Pricing - Party of 5 or more) 
  • Multi-Person Group - Party of 5 or more
    • One group member registers all members together in one transaction.
    • Each member in the group gets a $5 discount.
    • No one can be added after the transaction is complete.
  • Teams
    • One person creates an open group
    • Others can join anytime on their own when they register for the race
    • No discount is given with this option

Join a Team

• Create a team and invite as many people as you'd like to join you for the 5K!

  • After it's created, the group name will show up in the “team” drop-down menu.

  • To join a team, follow the steps below:

    1. Select “Yes” when asked if you want to join a group.

    2. Select the team name from the drop-down list.

    3. They’ll be automatically added to that team.
