The sixth annual New Orleans Superhero Race will be held on September, 2019. It will make its way along the Lafitte Greenway, starting and finishing on Hagan Avenue at Lafitte Avenue (behind Parkway Bakery and Tavern).
Proceeds from the race benefit CASA New Orleans, a nonprofit that fights for the rights of abused and neglected children in St. Bernard and Orleans parishes.
Dressed in Superhero costumes, the runners will race a 5k course through the Lafitte Greenway, while children age 12 and under will race a 1k course along Bayou St. John. Runners will compete to win prizes for best costume, best pet costume, and most money raised by a group or individual. There will be kids' activities and an after party at Parkway Bakery and Tavern following the race. Don't miss out on this fun opportunity to support CASA New Orleans!
