Superhero Race benefitting CASA New Orleans

7th Annual New Orleans Superhero 5K & 1K Race 

Every child needs a hero but abused and neglected children need superheroes! For the past six years our region's superheroes have come out to race in support of the kids in foster care served by CASA New Orleans, and this year they will again be running a virtual race. Your run can be held anytime from November 20 to December 6, 2021 along the route of your choice. Run our traditional route along the Lafitte Greenway, starting and finishing at Parkway Bakery and Tavern, follow along one of our featured routes, or pick your favorite! How do you 5k?
  
Runners are encouraged to raise funds to benefit CASA New Orleans, a nonprofit that fights for the rights of abused and neglected children in St. Bernard and Orleans parishes. 
 
Dressed in Superhero costumes, the runners will race a 5k course, while children age 12 and under will race a 1k. Runners will compete to win prizes for fastest times, best costume, best pet costume, and most money raised by a group or individual. Registration:
$20 for individuals
$15 for Superhero Squad members (teams of 5 or more)
