1st Annual NSU SNA 5k for Kandace

March 17, 2016, Dr. Kandace Landreneau was diagnosed with an inoperable, aggressive brain cancer. A year later, she continues to work at NSU, and looks forward, by Jesus" saving grace and healing promises, to passing many more "expiration dates." Kandace thanks everyone for their love and over the top generosity, and looks forward to giving hugs at the race. "One day, I'll run with you! God Bless you!" - Dr. Kandace Landreneau

April 21, 2017 at Stoner Skateboard Park      5k to begin at 6:00pm

Course Description: 5K Race starts and finishes at the Stoner Skateboard park on the bike path.

Registration: It is preferred that you register early online at sportspectrumusa.com or by dropping off or completing your race application at Sportspectrum – 6970 Fern Ave, Shreveport, LA 71105. All early registrations will receive a “5k for KANDACE” T- shirt. Register early, as we cannot guarantee shirts to late registrants.

Entry Fee: $30 for early registration through April 7th, 2017 $40 for late registration from April 8th –April 20th, $45 on race day.

Race Packet Pick Up: Packets will be available for pick up only at Sportspectrum.  You may pick up your packet early at Sportspectrum on

Wednesday, April 19th from 12:00pm to 5:30pm and

Thursday, April 20th from 10:00am to 5:30pm. 

Race day registration and packet pick-up is Friday, April 21st afternoon from 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm at Stoner Skateboard Park parking lot.

Awards: Prizes for first female and first male finisher in the 12 and over category and under 12 category will receive a trophy.
